This was our first post . . . but due to some technical problems, lets call them Ruth, it was deleted.

If anyone has saved the entry, please email it to Dan, and we'll post it back up. If not, let's just paraphrase:

Wow, we're so excited we're about to leave and go to New Zealand and jeez there's so much to do and so many people to thank like Doug for setting up the website and Peet for letting us crash on his floor and Kathy for driving us and Lyndy and Ferald and Wendy for the massive sanitation efforts and many more loved ones; family and friends.

dan. marmite. oh yes. we have that here, packaged different, but the same beauty in a jar no doubt. on toast in the morning, there is no equal pleasure. well... not on toast. nz looks honeyfied. enjoy

Hi!! I miss you guys! I love the website. Reading about your adventures makes me smile! I hope you continue making amazing memories. All is well here. The boys are extraordinarily cute, and I got A's on my finals!! Gavin has a Nemo bath mat, and he was particularly gassy the other night. He said,'ha! I farted on nemo!' My baby's growing up! I love you guys!! Mmmuuuaaahhhh!

All I can say is "WOW!" I am so happy for you guys! What a great adventure. I got a little teary-eyed when I saw you (Kim) in Amy's shirt. I am so glad you are wearing it! What can I say but I still miss you, and I am LOVING reading about your travels. Oh, nice sausage!

Well - I am glad to know that you are having fun in the land of the long white cloud! Make sure you have a coffee in one of the cute cafés in Vulcan Lane in Auckland - it so not Phoenix - and will warm you up for the coffee adventures in Melbourne - the coffee capital of the world - IMHO. thanks for the chatty updates - great to see and hear what you are up to. :-)

I can't believe you are already there, and for 27 hours!! I thought you left yesterday. Anyway, Kimi, we were sitting in the meeting today saying that you were on a plane, but I guess we were wrong. I am sooooo glad you had a very safe trip. I am looking forward to reading about your journey!!! I miss you so much Kim, you don't even know!!!

Just wanted to say hi. Dan and I used to play soccer together in Ramsey. I thoroughly enjoy visiting your site and reading up on the latest adventures of danberly. congrats on the engagement, and i hope you have a safe and fun-filled trip in New Zealand. I hear those aboriginals may great stocking stuffers if you can get them past customs. or not. i just made that up.

Hey you two lovebirds!! I had been wondering about how you were doing!! I am so glad to know the answer is VERY well - what an adventure that is, upon which you are about to embark! As you attended our going away/engagement party (Dan), I'll pass on the same message you sent to us: many a blessing and well wishes to both of you! What a journey ahead! i don't know why....it just popped in my head when i saw "name".....i miss you guys already! i'm all wiggly with anticipation to see and hear the marvels of the world! i owe you about 52 cds when you return. i will have them waiting at my house for when you come visit to have tea and cheese and wine and chocolate. and when you see the marvels i've created with my temporary custody of the serger! be safe & have inhuman amounts of fun (remember your black tourmaline) i love you guys like crazy! ~muah~ katerina

Wow!! So much has happened to you since we last saw eachother Dan! Congrats on the new house. It looks amazing. Can't wait to meet Kim. New Zealand is my #1 wish destination. Please do some crazy adrenaline rush activities as New Zealand is by far the best place to that. I want some good stories. We'll get together when you get back and I make it out to AZ. Best of luck.

What? Dan, I thought you said the 31st. You're in Danberly already? Isn't that in England near Wemberly? I heard that Danberly's stadium is pretty good- although it's lacking in soccer & The Rolling Stones- it makes up with creativity, inventiveness & cute snidey commentary. I love round photo of the round head with Mr. Shadow standing on top. 'Though that's not called a haircut, it's Exposing of the scalp, an unhaircut. I'm realising I'm strangely NOT going to miss you two. We might meet up here in Danberly much more than we did when you lived 1 1/2 minutes down the street! I'm also thinking your missives will keep me more aware of the uncertainty of life, I'm impelled to tell you what I never want to hear when I set out on adventures:...be Careful of your precious selves PLEASE
